Networks and Collectives

Since its foundation, IDDH has believed in the power of collective action and is dedicated to participating in and coordinating some of the main human rights advocacy networks. These networks are fundamental to strengthening the fight for fundamental rights, mobilizing civil society, and pushing for significant changes on the national and international stage.

RPU

Founded in 2017, Coletivo RPU Brasil brings together 38 organizations and approximately 1,200 civil society entities to monitor and promote human rights in Brazil, with a focus on implementing the recommendations of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR).

A regional network formed by defenders from 10 countries in South America, Colectivo EPU América del Sur aims to monitor and act strategically on the Universal Periodic Review, strengthening the defense of human rights in the region.

GTSC-

Working group focused on monitoring and implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Brazil, promoting a critical approach to public policies and encouraging concrete actions to promote sustainable development in the country.

Regional organization working for popular education and the strengthening of civil society in Latin America and the Caribbean, promoting active participation in social and political issues in the region.
