we work to decentralize political advocacy and ensure the implementation of human rights.

Our focus is on Human Rights Education (HRE).

We carry out national and international advocacy, offer training on UN mechanisms, and promote networks and coalitions to increase the number of human rights defenders and educators in Brazil and Latin America.

activities

training and research

We share knowledge and tools so that human rights defenders, justice system professionals, and educators can access and engage with UN human rights protection mechanisms.

coordination

We connect human rights defenders and educators through the International Advocacy Network (RAI) and the International Youth Advocacy Network (RAIJ), where we share information and opportunities on international advocacy. We coordinate national and regional civil society collectives working on the UPR (UPR Brazil Collective and UPR South America Collective), and we are part of several civil society networks and coalitions.

Advocacy

We carry out international advocacy on the Human Rights Education agenda and actively participate in political articulations, such as the RPU Brazil Collective. In addition, we developed the IndexDH Platform, which makes available in Portuguese thousands of recommendations made to Brazil by UN mechanisms.
