Launch: UPR - How to Implement Human Rights

It is with great joy that we announce the launch of UPR Vol. 2: A Practical Guide for Civil Society Coalitions to Engage in Implementation Mechanisms. Organized by IDDH and FES Geneva.

The UPR Practical Guide aims to strengthen and boost the performance of civil society coalitions in the implementation, monitoring, and follow-up processes of international human rights recommendations, especially within the framework of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR).

Learn how to engage in implementation mechanisms: the guide presents methodologies, tools, strategies, and practical experiences to support national coalitions at all stages of the UPR cycle, with a special focus on implementing recommendations and strengthening social participation.

Learn about the role of NMIRFs: the publication also highlights National Implementation, Reporting and Monitoring Mechanisms (NMIRFs) as strategic and participatory spaces capable of bringing international commitments closer to the reality of territories and contributing to the realization of human rights.
